About Us
The Hardin County Veterans' Service Office is a county government agency that serves military veterans, their dependents, and surviving spouses in Hardin County, OH. Our mission is to ensure that veterans receive the federal, state, and local benefits they have earned through military service. We operate under the Hardin County Veterans Service Commission and are staffed by trained, accredited veterans service professionals who provide assistance at no cost.
Hardin County Veterans' Service Office exists to advocate for veterans and simplify the often-complex process of accessing benefits and services. Rather than requiring veterans to navigate government programs on their own, we provide personalized guidance, prepare documentation, file claims, and communicate with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on behalf of eligible individuals. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for veterans and their families by ensuring they receive every benefit for which they qualify.
