The Veterans’ Service Commission would like to announce their Holiday Ham outreach program for 2019, which is available for all “needy” veterans and widows. Applicants can request a ham voucher by coming into the Veterans’ Service Office between December 2nd – 6th .
The veteran “must” bring in proof of honorable or under honorable service via the service member’s DD214 or other official military discharge paperwork, and the widow must bring in the death certificate and proof of the veteran’s military service. Lastly, proof of residency for the last 90 days as a Hardin County resident is also required. We are located on the 1st floor in the courthouse.
