The Veteran’s Holiday Food Voucher Outreach Program is available for all “needy” veterans and widows. The veteran “must” bring in proof of honorable or under honorable service via their DD214 and must have served on active duty for other than training. The widow must bring in the death certificate, marriage license and proof of the veteran’s military service, on active duty (form DD214).
Lastly, proof of residency for the last 90 days as a Hardin County resident is also required. Applicants can request a food voucher by coming into the Veterans’ Service Office (1st floor of the county courthouse located in Kenton) between December 9th – December 13th, 2024, availability is dependent on funding.
