The Hardin County Veterans’ Service Commission will be hosting their 8th annual Veteran’s Dinner for county veterans and their spouses, along with providing, for the 9th year, a holiday food voucher for needy veterans and widows.
DINNER
To be eligible for the free dinner, you must be a “veteran” with honorable service and a Hardin County resident. Acceptable proof of military service can be proven by bringing in one of the following: DD214, VA ID card, or the county veteran ID card, along with proof of Hardin County residency. Dinner format will be dine-in and/or carryout at the Armory.

- Date of dinner: November 17th Location: Armory (downtown Kenton)
- Time of dinner: 11 AM – 1:30 PM Caterer: Plaza (smoke BBQ chicken & pulled pork)
All veterans who plan on attending the dinner must come into the Veterans’ Service Office between October 31st – November 7th, 2022, in order to get their ticket(s). Availability, is on first come first serve basis.
