The Veterans’ Service Commission and the Kenton Elks 157 is partnering up this year in order to provide a holiday food voucher for Hardin County “needy” veterans and widows. Applicants can request a food voucher by coming into the Veterans’ Service Office between November 30th – December 7th, 2020.
The veteran “must” bring in proof of honorable or under honorable service via the service member’s DD214 or other official military discharge paperwork, and the widow must bring in the death certificate and proof of the veteran’s military service. Lastly, proof of residency for the last 90 days as a Hardin County resident is also required. We are located on the 1st floor, Suite 170, in the courthouse.
