The Hardin County Veterans’ Service Commission will be hosting their 6th annual Veteran’s Dinner for county veterans and their spouses.
To be eligible for this free dinner, you must be a “veteran” with honorable service and a Hardin County resident. Acceptable proof of military service can be proven by bringing in one of the following: DD214, VA ID card, or the county veteran ID card, along with proof of Hardin County residency.
All veterans who plans on attending the dinner must come into the Veterans’ Service Office between October 19th – 26th, 2020, in order to get their ticket(s). Availability, is on first come first serve basis and are limited.
Due to COVID-19, safety protocols will be in place to help ensure the safety of everyone who attends the dinner/lunch.
The dinner itself will be from held, during lunch hours, between 11AM -2 PM. This lunch format allows veterans and their spouses to come in and eat at their leisure which allows for increased social distancing.
