We had a great turnout this last Saturday. Veterans and their family members were fishing all around Boy Scout Lake/Veterans Park competing on who could catch the longest fish and the most fish.
First-place winners received a 1st place trophy, free rod and reel, & other gift items, the second-place winners received a trophy & misc. fishing gear. The person who caught the most fish won a fishing tackle sling bag and a dry box. All participants were entered into a raffle and the winning ticket received cornhole boards. A light lunch after the event was provided to all registered participants.
