Veteran’s Dinner 2022 (click here for info & pics)

The Hardin County Veterans’ Service Commission will be hosting their 8th annual Veteran’s Dinner for county veterans and their spouses, along with providing, for the 9th year, a holiday food voucher for needy veterans and widows. 

DINNER

To be eligible for the free dinner, you must be a “veteran” with honorable service and a Hardin County resident.  Acceptable proof of military service can be proven by bringing in one of the following: DD214, VA ID card, or the county veteran ID card, along with proof of Hardin County residency.  Dinner format will be dine-in and/or carryout at the Armory.

Dinner Information:  

  1. Date of dinner: November 17th                Location: Armory (downtown Kenton)
  2. Time of dinner: 11 AM – 1:30 PM            Caterer: Plaza (smoke BBQ chicken & pulled pork)

All veterans who plan on attending the dinner must come into the Veterans’ Service Office between October 31st – November 7th, 2022, in order to get their ticket(s). Availability, is on first come first serve basis. 

The Veterans’ Service office would like to thank each and every sponsor (past and present) but especially the Hardin County Community Grant, Liberty Bank, George Henderson, McCullough Industries, VFW Post 6817, and the Armory Foundation who is sponsoring the dinner this year.
