The Veterans’ Service Commission and the County Veterans’ Service Officer (CVSO) would like to thank the following sponsors who supported our 2nd annual Hardin County Veterans 5K Event:

Special thanks to McCullough Industries Joe Casey (General Manager), Joe Rosenberg (Director of Logistics- Olympic Steel) who is a retired Marine, and their employees who ran in the event this year.  Also, a special thanks to the Kenton Elks members, especially Julie Crowe and Dave Faulkner, who provided a lunch to the participants after the 5K event.

We, once again, had a great turnout with almost a 50% ratio of both veterans & supporters (general public), last Saturday.  The 1st place medal was awarded to both a male and a female in each age group category, with 2nd & 3rd place medals being awarded to the winner regardless of gender.  Below are the winners from the four different age groups, along with our very 1st mobility winner:

3rd Place Winners: Ray petty, Evelyn Titus, Michelle Pearcon-Casey, Wes Newton
