2021 Veteran’s Dinner/Lunch-7th Annual (click here for pics)

The Hardin County Veterans’ Service Commission will be hosting their 7th annual Veteran’s Dinner for county veterans and their spouses. 

To be eligible for this free dinner, you must be a “veteran” with other than a dishonorable discharge and be a Hardin County resident.  Acceptable proof of military service can be proven by bringing in one of the following: DD214, VA ID card, or the county veteran ID card, along with proof of Hardin County residency.

All veterans who plan on attending the dinner must come into the Veterans’ Service Office between October 19th – November 2nd, 2021, in order to get their ticket(s). Availability, is on first come first serve basis and are limited

Due to COVID-19, safety protocols will be in place to help ensure the safety of everyone who attends the dinner/lunch. 

The dinner itself will be from held, during lunch hours, between 11:30 AM -2 PM.  This lunch format allows veterans and their spouses to come in and eat at their leisure which allows for increased social distancing

  1. Date of dinner/lunch: November 9th
  2. Location: Kenton’s Armory
  3. Time of dinner/lunch: 11:30 AM – 2 PM
  4. Caterer: Plaza Inn
  5. VA Mobile Unit will be there, as well
