2018 Veteran’s Dinner
The Hardin County Veterans’ Service Commission will be hosting their 4th annual Veteran’s Day dinner for county veterans and their spouses. The dinner will be held at the Kenton Armory on November 10, 2018, between the hours of 4:00 -5:00 p.m.
Tickets will be available for pickup at the Veterans’ Service Office, Suite 120 in the courthouse, between the dates of October 24th – November 2nd. Tickets will be available on a first come first serve basis (while tickets last).
Once again, the Veterans’ Service Office and Walmart are partnering up in order to provide a presentation after the dinner for the veteran’s in attendance (members of the JROTC, high school band, and choir will be there). Walmart’s Vision Center representatives will be there along with the Program Director from Ohio Council for Cognitive Health to provide assistance to veterans.
To be eligible for this free dinner, you must be a “veteran” and a Hardin County resident. Acceptable proof of military service can be proven by bringing in one of the following: DD214, VA ID card, or the county veteran ID card, along with proof of Hardin County residency which is required to secure your ticket (please keep in mind that you must have a ticket in order to attend the dinner).
