2017 Veteran’s Dinner at the Armory (click here for pics)

The Hardin County Veterans’ Service Commission hosted their 3rd annual Veteran’s Day dinner for county veterans and their spouses.  The dinner was held at the Kenton Armory on November 7, 2017, between the hours of 11:15 -12:30 p.m.

This year the Veterans’ Service Office and Wal-Mart partnered up in order to provide a presentation after the dinner for the veteran’s in attendance (members of the choir, JROTC, and the high school band was there). VA representatives from the Marion outpatient clinic was on site, along with representative from JFS, the Vet Center, and Honor Flight who provided information and assistance to veterans.

The Veterans’ Service office would also like to thank each and every sponsor (Hardin County Community Foundation, Hardin County Armory Restoration Foundation, Kroger’s, Liberty Bank, Home Savings & Loan Bank, Superior Credit Union, VFW Post 6817 & 1182, and Wal-Mart) who has helped to make this annual event a success.
